This is what I remember from writing classes:
Where is your hook.
Wear is your thesis.
Use "better" vocabulary, or should I say more "eloquent" vocabulary.
Don't use I.
Don't use run on sentences.
Make your sentence structure more complicated.
Yuse spel chek.
Don't use sparknotes.
Don't use the word "don't". Use "do not".
Go on the website that counts your words per sentence and tells you what grade level you are at.
"There is no right or wrong answer in writing"
Don't put photos. Don't make the title bold. Use times new roman font.
Sorry, wikipedia is not a reliable resource because millions of people use and edit it! and plus... it's just too easy. (When was the last time you didn't look something up on wikipedia and trust it?)
But some random book written by a "self proclaimed genius of a person" is a reliable resource.
Isn't the purpose of writing to spread ideas?
I don't really see how any of these rules have anything to do with spreading ideas.
