Fast Food Revolution

Apparently people aren't "Lovin' it" anymore at McDonalds. They aren't exactly "putting a smile on" your face these days. But you know who is? Chipotle!

Turn that C sideways and you get your smile while you wait 45 min in line to gobble down a 2 pound burrito less than in 5 min... every day. At least that's what I do...

Actually I'm lying because I order with the app so I only wait like 30 seconds max... and I could probably beat 5 min if I tried.

How did Chipotle manage to master the High Quantity, High Quality, Low Price. Usually food places can only master 2 out of the 3, but Chipotle definitely has all 3.

It seems like the only people who still love McDonalds anymore are Americans travelling in Europe, French people, homeless people(only for the free bathroom), and ....Usain Bolt...

Are americans beginning to eat healthy? Or what's going on here? What about french fries and ketchup? Or is it just because Chipotle is has more food for the same price? Are kids over the little plastic toys now that they all have ipads and the internets?

Is chipotle making people more fat or more healthy, I don't even know and I don't care because it tastes good. And I don't feel like absolute shit after.

Is the order at the counter and pick up at the other side of the counter type of fast food going to go extinct soon? Besides InNOut I don't go to any of these "OLD" fast food places. They suck.

Today it's all about the design your own food as you walk across the counter fast food. I remember the first time I went to 800 degrees pizza, I just couldn't believe they could cook a pizza that fast. Then those kinds of places spread to every corner. Whether it's Pizza or burritos there are plenty of options and they are popping up like grass after a good rain.

I think a design your own burger place is overdue and should be coming soon. Adding whatever meat or veggie patty and ingredients and fries options. It will be interesting to see what it looks like.

It could be cool to see one that makes crepes. Only problem is it would be difficult to make a crepe as big a double wrapped extra meat plus guacamole chipotle burrito. French food is supposed to be small portions.

What about one for just salads, just fill up the bowl with whatever the heck you want. It would go super fast to make a quick salad. These places probably exist, but they aren't mainstream yet.

It's very interesting because Subway and Quiznos has had this model for years, yet it never really spread out to many other sandwich shops.

I hope to see more of these awesome new ideas for food in the future. I am always hungry and I currently don't like or want to cook.
