Bad Habits

Recently I had a bad habit. Every day I would wake up a tiny bit later than the day before. I was just getting lazier and lazier with my snoozing. So it was unnoticeable at first but after about 3 weeks it started become a problem as I wouldn't have time to get ready, I started eating faster and less, and riding my bike to work faster and faster.

I was starting the day off in a horrible mood because of this.

For me my mornings are super important. Number one, I need a big breakfast. Usually I'll either eat a bowl of oatmeal with a banana and some nuts, maybe some eggs, or half a baguette with honey, some orange juice, or lipton breakfast tea. If I skip this morning ritual then I start the day in a bad mood. So I need about an hour to get dressed, get all my stuff ready, eat, and wash.

So every night I would go to sleep telling myself I would not snooze, but then I would just snooze any way. Every day I would just sleep a bit longer. It wasn't even good sleep because it was procrastinating stressed snoozing. This stupid snoozing problem really was annoying me.

The other day, I just put in some effort and immediately got out of bed when the alarm clock rang. It was hard for about 10 seconds then it was easy.

Within 2 days, that bad habit was gone.

All it came down to was having the will to try, and once you start it's easy.
