Inventing the next UBER

Everyone always has this epic idea of making The Next Big Thing. So they will tell you not to tell anyone and then in a low voice tell you... "I want to make an UBER for doing laundry" ....

Cool idea.

If you look on the App store alone there's like 20 of those already. That's not the next big thing.

So if you are trying to come up with a good idea, first look if it already exists. Then ask yourself if you would actually use your own app. For example wouldn't it be faster to just go to a laundromat to do it yourself than to download the app, figure it out, and coordinate with someone to drop off and pick up your laundry.
