Virgin america is definitely fun. They are changing flying and bringing it back to the glory days. Here is how my flight went:
Environment: It was kind of dark and techno themed with modern music and purple lights. It is a fun atmosphere.
Instead of having a boring info video about the exits and oxygen maps, they have a music video for it which is great the first time you watch it. It might get annoying if you fly often though.
You can either pay 8 dollars for movies or there is free TV. They have a partnership with go pro, so one channel just shows fun go pro videos. I got a bit dizzy at one point though.
Apparently they have a mileage plan that does not expire every year like the other airlines.
In conclusion, it is definetely refreshing and different. It’s a much better experience than american airlines with their same style from the 20 years ago and 70 year old flight pissed off flight attendants. Good job Sir Richard Branson I am sold!!
