Priority Bicycles: Review

I like this company. It has a simple goal. Make a bike that will last really long with little to no maintenance. Don't make it more connected with built in features and gadgets, but strip it of those gadgets. Instead of adding, take away anything that is unnecessary and make a bike that gets the job done and will last forever.

All these other new bike companies that try to make an electric bike are stupid. These companies include Faraday Bikes, EVELO, OPTIBIKE, FLYKLY etc. They say that they are simplifying the bike, but they messed up the second they added a battery, electric motor, controllers, etc. Their bikes aren't simple anymore. There is nothing simple about adding all that extra stuff to a bike.

If you actually ride a bike, you know that adding an electric motor makes it heavy and super complicated. I used to work in a bike shop, and we would cringe when someone came in with an electric bike asking for a flat fix, because it would take 3 times longer to fix.

The human powered bike is the most efficient machine in the world. I think removing unnecessary parts to simplify and streamline it is the way to go, which is exactly what Priority bikes is striving for.
