Tesla is COOL. In the electric car market, Nissan, Ford, and other manufacturers are not. That's that. It will be difficult to change that image though.
The Chevy Volt is ugly. It's a company that makes big trucks and powerful cars with a lot of horsepower. Now they come out with the Volt, which is a low power eco car. The normal Chevy customer doesn't want that kind of car.
The BMW thing is just horrid. It seems to try to sell on the kind of nerdy weird looking market. Not too sure where they are going with that. All I'm saying is I don't really want it.
I like the prius, and am waiting to see an all electric soon hopefully. It's simple, and has its own niche. People love their prii.
The Tesla is awesome! It's the future. It's outer space! It's the top of engineering simplicity and beauty.
